- Location: Agents should be based in the rural communities they serve as they identify and sell to non-electrified households.
- Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales or marketing is preferred, as agents will be responsible for promoting and selling VITALITE's products. This can be exemplified in scenarios by shop owners in rural areas.
- Customer Service Skills: Agents should have good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude to provide excellent service to customers.
- Access to Networks: Agents should have access to networks in their communities to effectively promote and sell VITALITE's products.
- Basic Technical Knowledge: basic technical knowledge of smartphones is required for agents to troubleshoot simple issues and educate customers on payments and using the solar home system.
- Startup capital: Agents are required to deposit a small amount of capital (cash) to access training and products.
- Commitment to VITALITE's Mission: Agents should align with VITALITE's mission of providing affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions to off-grid communities.
